Dust 514 Movieby ~Spineraker

This was an assignment from one of my college classes. We were given the task to develop a movie poster, and the Dust 514 trailer had just been released. At this same time, I saw Kalin Rinkvist's book "Against A Rock" had just released as well and the cover art was fantastic.

All in all, I've gone through many different formats for the copy, and a few different typefaces as well. I think Kalin Rinkvist for a wonderful book (which this poster otherwise has nothing to do with; I loved the character design way too much, though). The quote is from her book as well.

The names within the crew list at the bottom are actually kind of interesting. Other than only a small handful of people (such as Kalin Rinkvist and John Williams) the remaining names within the production crew attributed are all famous people that mysteriously disappeared throughout history. Many of them from a sea vessel that was found floating adrift in the 17th or 18th century; her crew completely missing and never heard from again.

Very nice. Now if only I can find an artist like this for a free commission or request. xD! but anyhow, I applaud this. It's an /amazing/ game.
